๐ฅณ On July 30, the Ethereum network will celebrate its 10th anniversary since the launch of the Genesis block. To celebrate, the Ethereum Foundation is hosting a global decentralized campaign that includes online and offline events dedicated to Ethereum's progress and its impact on blockchain development. The main event of the anniversary will be a livestream on July 30.
๐ค Participants will be able to create "Torch NFTs" for free for 24 hours after the event.
๐ Celebrations will take place in major cities such as Shenzhen and Hong Kong, as well as numerous community-organized meetups around the world. The Ethereum Foundation supports these efforts through its Ecosystem ๐ฆ Support Program, providing microgrants of up to $500 to fund such initiatives. These events are intended to highlight Ethereum's evolution in areas such as decentralized finance (DeFi), tokenization, and digital ownership, while also further strengthening the bonds between communities across regions.
๐ The concern remains that after the fun event, the price may dump. Perhaps the Ethereum Foundation itself will want to sell some of its holdings at a good price.
