I still remember clearly that it was early 2021 – the time when the cryptocurrency market was heating up day by day. At that time, I was just a curious person, not really understanding much about crypto, but a few friends encouraged me to "open a wallet, buy some coins to try out."
While researching, the name Binance kept appearing. They said Binance is one of the largest exchanges in the world, and BNB is the "main" coin of this exchange – used to reduce transaction fees, participate in Launchpad, Staking, etc. So I decided to try to "acquire" a little to see what it was like.
At that time, BNB was about 40 USD/coin. I deposited 200 dollars, bought about 5 BNB. The feeling when I saw my wallet first show the BNB balance was really strange – anxious, both scared of risk and… interesting like holding a ticket to step into a new financial world.
I never expected that just a few months later, BNB skyrocketed to over 600 USD. I was stunned, my heart raced every time I opened the app. At that moment, I began to understand somewhat the feeling of "swing trading" that people often talk about. Of course, after that, the market also had strong corrections, and I learned many lessons about capital management, investment psychology, not FOMO…
But whether profit or loss, that moment of owning my first BNB was still a memorable milestone. It opened up a new journey for me – learning how to invest, learning patience and risk management in this volatile world.
