I'll share a funny story for everyone to note)
Have you heard anything about the crypto exchange EXMO?
In 2017, I was a completely inexperienced newbie🤣 (now I'm an experienced newbie😎)
Having learned from friends about the existence of EXMO, I (with trembling hands) registered and deposited my first fiat deposit into the exchange.
Then I bought 683 tokens of $XRP , which cost exactly $2000 at that time (the price crashed the very next day, but that's another story😂)
I had money back then, so I happily forgot about my investment for several years, and in 2021, when the price of $XRP rose a bit, I remembered my tokens and decided to lock in the loss. I logged into my account, opened my wallet... and how surprised I was when I saw that I only had 180 coins of $XRP left🙀
At first, I thought it was a mistake... but when I searched for answers online, I realized that there were many such cases😂 EXMO's policy allowed them to deduct tokens from users' wallets for INACTIVITY!!!😂
Haven't logged into the exchange for many years? Be ready to say goodbye to your money🤷🏻♂️
They literally deducted a percentage from my balance every month😂
