When I researched Ethereum’s supply, one thing became clear right away it has no limit. That means ETH can keep being created over time.
This can be risky, because when the supply of something increases too much, its value can drop.
If ETH had a limited supply like Bitcoin, maybe long-term investors would trust it even more.
Updates like EIP-1559 have definitely helped by burning some ETH, but still, there’s no complete control.
In my view, until a clear supply policy is introduced, ETH’s price will always carry a bit of risk.
