U.S. President Donald Trump announced the introduction of a 15% universal tariff on imports from 27 EU countries, concluding a prolonged trade tension. The EU had previously insisted on maintaining a tariff rate of 10%.

The EU agreed to purchase energy resources from the U.S. worth $750 billion, including annual supplies of $250 billion until the end of Trump's presidential term.

Additional EU investments in the U.S. will amount to $600 billion beyond previously planned sums.

15% tariffs will affect cars, pharmaceuticals, and semiconductors.

Tariffs on steel and aluminum will remain at 50%.
