Why can some people from the lower class climb out, while others can never escape? Some people have strong execution, while others have weak execution; where does the key difference lie? The essence is that most people—especially those at the bottom—often crave 'certainty' while neglecting 'possibility.' However, you must understand that certainty does not belong to the lower class. It belongs only to vested interests. What the lower class should grasp is precisely 'possibility.' So what is 'certainty'? For example: if you give me a certain amount of money, I guarantee you what kind of returns you will get. Such promises may seem tempting, but they are often traps. Whether in business or investment, if someone promises you 'certain returns,' you should be wary—they are after your principal, not a win-win with you. True certainty does not flow into the market. For instance, whether a piece of land can be acquired or whether a project can be undertaken, true certain resources circulate within circles, and you will not even get to see them. Once you can 'see' it, you are most likely just a supporting role.
Therefore, what we should truly pursue is 'possibility'—the kind of opportunity that no one can promise you, but that you may gain returns from if you work hard. This is also why truly reliable people or projects never easily make promises. Because they know there is no absolute certainty in the world; they tell you about risks and possibilities, not dazzling guarantees. Only a liar would promise you 'guaranteed profits without losses.' The greatest dilemma for the lower class is 'not being able to afford to lose,' which is why they crave 'certainty' even more. But the reality is: any certainty you can access is almost all a pitfall, all beautifully disguised traps. On the contrary, those who do not promise you anything, who only provide you with a platform, who are willing to try and make mistakes together, and who are willing to work with you are the truly trustworthy opportunities. Because they offer you possibility, not tempting certainty.
