Are we expecting a new ICO boom?

ICO (Initial Coin Offering) is a form of attracting investments, where a project issues its own tokens and sells them to investors. ICO is like an IPO, but in crypto.

The US Senate has introduced a bill that gives startups the opportunity to issue tokens (ICO) without SEC pressure, up to $75 million a year, totaling up to $300 million over 4 years.

Startups will be able to issue tokens (as long as they do not provide equity, dividends, or other “financial rights”); such assets will be considered “ancillary” and will not fall under SEC regulation. The key is not to disguise securities as tokens.

It seems that the US is really preparing to legalize ICOs in a new format.

Potentially, this move could invigorate the market, and we can expect an influx of new tokens, people, liquidity, and opportunities to make profits on coffee — just the way we like it 😋
