​She said: "The rocket artillery hit civilian areas, resulting in 35 Thai civilian casualties, including 11 deaths from shelling, and another 7 soldiers injured, with 1 fatality."

​Phetthongtan said: "Thailand absolutely does not accept such barbaric attacks from Cambodia."

​Phetthongtan angrily stated: "This behavior is more terrifying than ISIS, which only targets soldiers, while Cambodia targets civilians!"

​"Such actions will surely be condemned by the whole world!"

​"We support the military in taking all necessary measures to retaliate against Cambodia's barbaric actions," she said, "but we hope to resolve the issue through diplomatic means, and do not wish for the situation to escalate, so as to avoid affecting civilians."
