MoonPay launches liquid staking for Solana with a yield of 8.49%
Fintech company MoonPay has introduced a new liquid staking program for Solana users with an annual yield of 8.49%. It is enough to invest just $1 to receive the mpSOL token, with rewards being credited every two days and withdrawals available without locking.
The service started on July 23 in all regions except New York State and EEA countries. According to MoonPay CEO Ivan Soto-Wright, the new feature makes earning on cryptocurrencies accessible and understandable, like traditional savings products.
Founded in 2019, MoonPay has transformed from an exchange into a full-fledged Web3 platform offering solutions for NFTs, stablecoins, and on-chain yield.
