ETH/BTC Ratio Returns to January Levels
In the past month, the ETH/BTC ratio has increased by about 40%, rising from a low of around 0.022 on June 23 to approximately 0.031 currently. This rebound reflects Ethereum's price increase of over 60% in July, primarily benefiting from strong inflows into spot Ethereum ETFs and growing institutional interest.
From a longer-term perspective, the ETH/BTC ratio has rebounded by over 70% since hitting a five-year low near 0.018 at the end of April. This level was last seen during the COVID-19 market crash in March 2020. Since then, the support level at 0.02 has remained solid, indicating a resurgence of investor confidence in Ethereum, while also further reinforcing market expectations that a 'altcoin season' is forming.
