Launched in January 2022, the NFT collection directed by Ozzy Osbourne is one of the mementos of the singer immortalized on the blockchain, after the rock legend's death at the age of 76 on Tuesday (22).
In addition to a brilliant solo career, Osbourne stood out in his career as the vocalist of Black Sabbath, one of the first heavy metal groups, which influenced generations.
With his NFT collection, Ozzy highlighted the famous incident where he bit a real bat on stage during one of his shows. He later confessed that he thought it was a toy when he bit the animal, never imagining that someone would throw a real bat at him.
Thus, the collection called CryptoBatz by Ozzy Osbourne (bat is bat in English) is a memento that fans can collect, which was directly supervised by the legendary singer. In total, 9,640 NFTs in the shape of bats were released for collectors.

It is worth remembering that artistic tokens registered on the blockchain give their holder immutable ownership of the item, unless they sell their NFT on the market.
