How much transaction fee will there be if you take out 10,000 USDT to trade contracts in the crypto space?

The transaction fees for contracts are divided into two parts: opening and closing positions.

Each of these is further divided into limit orders and market orders.

The following examples are based on 100x contracts since 1x is generally 0.002%/0.005%, which is very little.

Currently, most platforms charge approximately 2% of the principal for limit orders, so if you place a limit order with 10,000 USDT, 200 USDT will be deducted as a fee for opening a position. If you buy directly, a fee of 500 USDT will be deducted in one go.

The platform claims that limit orders enhance liquidity, thus the lower fees, while direct purchases do not appear on the limit order list, resulting in higher fees.

Opening + closing positions using limit orders incurs a total fee of 4% of the principal, which is 400 USDT in fees.

If you use direct purchases, the fees are 10% of the principal, amounting to 1,000 USDT in fees.

To save on fees, it is best to use limit orders.

The transaction fees for contracts are still relatively high, but most platforms now offer fee rebates. I can provide a 25% rebate on fees, so overall, the fees are not considered high.

The key is to have the right direction; many who truly engage in high-leverage contracts do not mind those small fees.
