#CryptoClarityAct

What is the CLARITY Act?

• It is a bill titled Digital Asset Market Clarity Act of 2025 (H.R. 3633), its wording was approved by the Finance and Agriculture Committees of the U.S. House of Representatives and passed on July 17, 2025, with a majority of 294 votes to 134.

• The law aims to:

• Divide the oversight of the digital asset market between the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), so that most widely used and decentralized cryptocurrencies are regulated by the CFTC, while giving the SEC authority against manipulation and illicit funding.

• Define the term “mature blockchain” to determine who is subject to which regulatory body.
