🗣️ Hackers have infected more than 3,500 websites with a hidden Monero miner — the malware targets vulnerable sites (most often WordPress and e-commerce) and runs a script in the visitors' browsers that mines cryptocurrency.

It puts a minimal load on the CPU and masks traffic through WebSocket, making it difficult to detect with standard security measures.
