#SEEDTAG Removal Notice
Binance will be removing the "Seed" tag for the following tokens: BONK, EIGEN, ETHFI, PENGU, and PEPE on July 21, 2025.
The tokens that will be removed from the "Seed" tag list are:
#Bonk (BONK)
#Eigen Layer (EIGEN)
#ETHFI ether.fi
#Pengu Pudgy Penguins
Pepe (PEPE)
Tokens with the "Seed" tag represent new and innovative projects and may experience higher volatility and risks compared to other listed tokens.
Binance will conduct periodic reviews of the projects and will determine whether the "Seed" tag should be removed from the tokens based on the latest findings. The following criteria are considered during the review:
Commitment of the team to the project
Level and quality of development activity
Trading volume and liquidity
Stability of the network and protection against attacks
Level of public communication, community engagement, and transparency
Response to periodic due diligence requests
Evidence of unethical/fraudulent behavior or negligence
New regulatory requirements
Substantial/unjustified increase in token supply or changes in token economics
Impact of changes on the project's ownership structure or core team members
