🇷🇺🇺🇦Moscow insists on defending its interests in a new round with Kyiv

The Kremlin has confirmed that the drafts of memorandums exchanged earlier with Ukraine will be one of the key points in the third round of negotiations. This was stated by spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, emphasizing the complexity of the process and the need to revisit the documents discussed in previous phases.

Peskov reiterated that it cannot be anticipated when the conflict will conclude, as it “depends on many factors” and any forecast would be premature. However, he made it clear that Russia will continue to engage in dialogue based on its strategic objectives.

“The goal is to safeguard our interests and fulfill the tasks we set out from the beginning,” said the spokesperson, who also noted that direct talks could take place this week in Turkey, although no date has been defined yet.
