Stellar is not seeking to appear flashy.

It is not chasing media hype.

It simply paves the way for a globally regulated digital currency.

We have recently witnessed Stellar's collaboration with PayPal expand significantly.

This collaboration began with PayPal integrating its PYUSD into the Stellar network.

We have previously seen PYUSD integrate with both Solana and Ethereum so far.

Both make sense given they are the most used retail chains in the cryptocurrency space so far.

But what about Stellar? It is less known or used in the retail cryptocurrency sales space, but clearly we have seen Stellar collaborate with some leading names in the finance world.

So, it is interesting to see PayPal choose Stellar to be the next chain for PYUSD.

And now, let’s add José Fernández da Ponte, the global head of Blockchain and Digital Currencies at PayPal, to Stellar.

This is much more than just a hiring news.

This is the person who designed PayPal's launch for its PYUSD platform, led blockchain integrations, and spent a decade scaling digital payments at the enterprise level.

José's background also includes a stint at BBVA, one of the largest banks in the Eurozone, with managed assets exceeding $900 billion.

His track record of successes speaks for itself.

And now, José Fernández da Ponte joins Stellar as CEO for growth just weeks after PYUSD joined Stellar?

This is not a coincidence, it's a convergence. #XLM
