Exercise 8: "Decision-Making Under Time Pressure"

One of the biggest challenges for traders is making the right decision during critical and high-pressure moments.

If this decision is made under the influence of stress or excitement, it can lead to major losses.

💡 How can we make rational decisions when time is limited?

1️⃣ Pause for a moment: Before entering any trade, take a 5-second pause and ask yourself—Is this trade truly logical, or am I acting out of haste and emotion?

2️⃣ Decision-making checklist: Quickly review whether the trade aligns with your strategy. Are the stop-loss and take-profit levels clearly defined? If the answer to any of these is unclear, it’s better to stay out.

3️⃣ Practice quick decision-making: Analyze the market within short timeframes (e.g., 30 seconds) and try to make a decision in that time. This exercise helps strengthen your ability to analyze quickly under pressure.

📒 Today’s Exercise: Before entering any trade, pause for 5 seconds and write down your reason for entering. After the trade ends, review whether your decision was logical or driven by emotion.
