Coin World reported that Amazon (AMZN.O) has acquired the startup Bee, which produces a wearable artificial intelligence assistant priced at $50. The co-founder of the San Francisco startup, Lurdes Zoro, posted a brief announcement on LinkedIn about the acquisition. The bracelet developed by Bee can record and transcribe users' activities, using this information to generate to-do lists and summarize conversations. Amazon spokesperson Alexandra Miller stated that as part of the agreement, all employees of Bee have received invitations to join Amazon.
