The price over the last 4 days has formed a narrow range with boundaries of 116500-116000 at the bottom and 119500-119700 at the top.
Market capitalization is at 3.86 trillion, while the dominance index has increased by almost 1% over the last day and is again above 61%.
As mentioned yesterday in the Review, Solana reached 200 (the maximum was above 204), now it is also around 200, Ether slightly below 3700.
The external background is neutral. The S&P 500 declined at the beginning of the American session, is now rising but is still in the red. Meanwhile, the dollar index is confidently going down, confirming what was said earlier - the rise of the dollar index above 98.5 was just a correction of the previous decline before the trend continued.
The decline of the dollar index is one of the best pieces of news for the crypto market.
We are currently seeing a combination of the following factors:
Market capitalization has consolidated above the important level of 3.6 trillion, but has not yet managed to reach 4 trillion.
Ether has approached the resistance area of 3800-4000.
No important data is expected this week. Next week - the Fed meeting (July 30). August 1 - deadlines for the introduction of tariffs for the EU expire.
Both of these events will impact the markets (regardless of the outcome). Therefore, for the growth of Bitcoin and everything else to continue right now, new significant positive news is needed (for example, an order from Trump regarding new opportunities for pension funds, which was mentioned earlier). Or something similar.
Without such positivity until August 1, the market may remain in current ranges or go for a small refuel.

For those who missed both cheap Bitcoin and Ether below 3K, there is still a chance to take their share in TOP altcoins. But the chance is not eternal. Tops can be 50-100% higher literally in a couple of days at any moment.
