Average Directional Index (ADX) Description: ADX measures the strength of a trend. It ranges from 0 to 100 and is used along with the +DI/-DI lines.
Usage:
Trend Strength: If ADX is above 25, it indicates a strong trend; if below, it indicates a weak trend.
Direction Signals: If +DI crosses above -DI, it signals a buy; the opposite signals a sell.
Weak Trend: If ADX is below 20, there is a lack of trend in the market (consolidation). Visual: The ADX line along with +DI and -DI lines is visible below the price chart. You can see this structure by adding the ADX indicator on TradingView.
