Don't you also think that contracts can make money, but you don't understand why you blow up as soon as you start?

To put it bluntly, new traders blow up not because they're unlucky, but because they think too simply.

If you don't even understand leverage, how can you dare to go all in with 20x? When the market moves against you by 10%, your position is gone, leaving you no chance to set a stop loss.

Do you think it's because your skills aren't good enough? No, it's because you don't even realize you're gambling with your life.

I've seen too many examples like this around me.

I have a friend, Xiaozhang. When he just graduated from university, he saw others making big money trading BTC and got envious. He jumped in with 10,000 yuan, hearing people say, "This wave of BTC is going to skyrocket," and ended up going long with 20x leverage. Guess what happened? The next day, BTC dropped by 5%, and instead of running, he added to his position. It then dropped another 3%, and he was wiped out.

10,000 yuan, all gone in just a few minutes.

Many people say, "If I get it right once, I can double my money!"

The problem is, you don’t even know what the liquidation line is. What are you even betting on?

Most blow-ups aren't from being defeated by the market; it's self-sabotage.

Not knowing how to set a stop loss, misreading the market and holding on, buying high and selling low, averaging down as it falls...

Playing contracts like gambling, and in the end, getting harvested all the way.

So I often say:

You aren't losing to the market; you're losing to your own impatience.

Contracts aren't unplayable; the key is that you don't even understand the basics and have no concept of risk control, so don't think about doubling your money every day.

At the very least, you need to know:

Practice stabilizing in spot trading first, then use leverage.

You need to know how to control your position and set stop losses to qualify for high leverage.

Otherwise, for you, contracts aren't about making money; they're about giving away money.
