💥 Crypto in Vietnam is about to be officially taxed: 0.1% on each transaction!
The Ministry of Finance has just proposed in the draft of the amended Personal Income Tax Law: → All digital asset transactions (including crypto, NFT, encrypted assets...) carried out on transparent exchanges and conducted regularly will be subject to a 0.1% tax on each transfer – similar to current securities.
📌 Important highlights: • Vietnam officially recognizes digital assets as legal assets for the first time, thanks to the Digital Technology Industry Law (effective from 1/1/2026). • The 0.1% tax rate is just the first step; the tax authority may consider additional taxes such as VAT, corporate income tax, personal income tax in the future.
