Mistakes I made as a beginner in crypto — and what I’d do differently today:

1. Chasing every pump.

I used to jump into tokens after big green candles. Most of the time, I was late.

2. Trusting hype over fundamentals.

I followed influencers and headlines without researching the actual utility or team behind a project.

3. Ignoring risk management.

I went all-in on positions without any strategy. No stop-loss. No plan. Just emotions.

4. Switching strategies too often.

I kept changing between swing trading, scalping, and long-term holding — without mastering any of them.

5. Not tracking my trades.

I had no real data. No lessons learned. Just PnL swings and frustration.

6. Thinking I was too late.

This mindset made me hesitate on solid projects. Ironically, it also pushed me into scams out of FOMO.

What I learned:

Discipline beats hype. Research beats noise.

Crypto is not just about catching pumps — it’s about positioning yourself intelligently over time.

Start with a system. Stick with it. And always protect your downside.
