Hey Pandas 🐼,
If you want to trade like professionals and protect your capital, then understanding risk management is a MUST. Here's everything you need to know in simple words:
1️⃣ Limit Entry vs Market Entry
Market Entry means you enter the trade instantly at the current price.
Limit Entry means we wait for the price to come into our ideal zone before entering.
✅ If you don’t want to wait for the limit, you can enter at the current price and DCA at the limit zone if price comes back. This balances your entry and gives you more control.
2️⃣ DCA (Dollar-Cost Averaging)
If the price drops after your first entry, you can enter again at better prices (if the trade setup is still valid).
This is called DCA and helps to average your entry for a stronger comeback.
⚠️ Use DCA only when the stop-loss hasn’t hit and setup is still active.
3️⃣ Leverage Control
Always adjust your leverage in a way that your liquidation price stays far from your entry.
❗The lower the liquidation risk, the safer your trade. High leverage = higher chances of getting liquidated.
4️⃣ Stop Loss (SL)
Every trade must have a Stop Loss. This is your emergency exit when the market goes against you.
SL isn’t optional — it’s your shield against big losses.
📌 Never ignore it, even if the setup looks perfect.
5️⃣ Trailing Stop Loss Strategy
Once the trade moves 5% in profit, immediately move your SL to your entry point (breakeven).
Now the trade becomes risk-free.
📈 If price continues in your direction, keep adjusting SL to lock in profits under key supports.
6️⃣ Capital Allocation & Risk Per Trade
Don’t go all-in. Only use 5–10% of your total capital in a single trade.
This way, even if one trade fails, your overall portfolio stays safe.
7️⃣ Keep Emotions Away
Don’t FOMO into random pumps.
Don’t panic during dips.
Trust the plan, follow the SL, and stay consistent.
✅ Apply these principles and you’ll start trading with confidence and control.
💼 Risk management is what separates gamblers from profitable traders.
Let’s win smart — not just fast.
