A sharp correction in the crypto market has begun, with the total market capitalization declining by 6.9%, while Bitcoin has fallen to around $115,500 after hitting a high of $123,000 mid-month. Factors include a massive liquidation of long positions, exceeding $625–700 million in the space of 24 hours. Despite these pressures, Ethereum appears to be relatively bright, registering a slight increase of 0.5%, reflecting a healthy correction and a shift in sentiment toward altcoins. The $ETH /$BTC indicator shows that Ethereum activity has surpassed Bitcoin in spot trading volume, with the ETH/BTC ratio rising by around 72% in the spot market. A technical analysis based on 42 indicators suggests that the price may soon test a significant resistance level at $120,000 as part of a pivot point before the next upswing. Some public companies have also drawn# attention with their current holdings evolving to over 1,000 Bitcoin each, as institutional adoption of Bitcoin as a reserve asset grows.
