Is cryptocurrency really suitable for ordinary people to play?

Can retail investors only serve as fuel for institutions?

1. The fluctuations in the market ultimately come down to large capital manipulating the market. They control the rhythm and use tools like news and economic data to influence retail investors' emotions. Sometimes, they even coordinate a performance. No matter how tight the external conditions are, as long as the market makers want the market to rise, it will be hard for it to go down; conversely, if they want to crash the market, even a statement from the U.S. President won't help. Those 'good news' and 'bad news' are often just post facto justifications for the price movements.

2. Do not operate on high leverage with contracts. Those who truly make money from investments have achieved financial freedom; they can afford to take a little pocket money to play with leverage and it doesn't matter if they lose, they can always start over. However, retail investors often gamble their entire fortune, resulting in a 90% loss rate, yet they still think it’s because they didn’t work hard enough. In reality, the probability of surviving such a strategy is pitifully low and is simply not suitable for ordinary people.

3. Avoid so-called 'celebrity coins' or any kind of PvP coins. Most of these are scams, often linked to shady groups from Southeast Asia. They issue coins at almost zero cost and rely on packaging and recruiting to sell worthless items to unsuspecting retail investors; by the time you take over, they have long since fled. These types of 'coins' are not investment products at all, but rather outright tools for ripping off retail investors.

4. Although there are many chaotic phenomena, I still have confidence in the future of the cryptocurrency industry. This is a continuously expanding field, and truly valuable projects will survive bull and bear markets and live longer. What ordinary people need to do is to buy those coins with fundamentals and vitality during downturns, hold them patiently, and when the bull market arrives, you will naturally see returns.
