Shenzhen-based UBTech Robotics has introduced the Walker S2 the first humanoid robot that can autonomously change its own batteries in under three minutes.
When running low on power, Walker S2 walks to a charging station, removes its depleted battery, swaps in a fully charged one, and gets right back to work — no human help needed.
Thanks to its dual-battery system and real-time power management, the robot can work non-stop in factories, logistics, and other industrial settings. It can choose to either swap or recharge its battery depending on the urgency of the current task.
Built for 24/7 operations, Walker S2 marks a major step forward in autonomous robotics.
