The Trump administration is revising its priorities in the distribution of American weapons: countries that provide their Patriot systems to Ukraine will receive new ones from the United States out of turn, reports The Wall Street Journal.
Germany has already been granted this priority after agreeing to transfer two systems to Ukraine.
While the U.S. will eventually replenish its own stockpiles, the WSJ notes that the process could take years. This approach accelerates deliveries to Kyiv but also puts additional pressure on Washington’s allies.
