BlockBeats news, on July 20, according to Dune data, the total amount of staked Ethereum on the Beacon Chain has exceeded 36 million, currently reported at 36.07 million ETH, with staked ETH accounting for 29.15% of the total supply. Since the Shanghai upgrade, there has been a net inflow of 17.91 million ETH, with the liquid staking protocol Lido holding a staking share of 25.21%.
Ethereum transitioned from Proof of Work (PoW) to Proof of Stake (PoS) in September 2022, and the Shanghai upgrade officially went live on April 12, 2023. The Shanghai upgrade introduced the staking withdrawal feature, allowing validators to withdraw their staked ETH and accumulated staking rewards.
