Tether blocked 5.8 million USDT in Brazil

Tether froze 5.8 million USDT at the request of Brazilian authorities, linked to money laundering. This is part of its active cooperation with law enforcement.

Previously, Tether had already frozen $225 million at the request of the U.S. Department of Justice and $23 million at Garantex addresses. The company also helped recover $9 million after the Bybit hack. A total of more than 5000 wallets have been blocked.
