The incident occurred after she unsuccessfully applied for a discount on a virtual asset platform and sought assistance through Telegram, where she encountered fraudulent 'customer service' representatives. Authorities have issued a warning to contact customer service through official channels and to avoid clicking on unknown links or sharing personal account passwords and verification codes.
