When I first got into crypto, I was full of excitement — I really believed I’d be a millionaire in just a week. 🤦‍♂️

But wow… reality hit hard. I made some painful mistakes that could’ve been avoided if I just knew better. So if you're just starting out, please read this — learn from my mess so you don’t repeat it.

---

1️⃣ Don’t Go All In on One Coin

In 2021, I went all-in on $DOGE thinking it would keep skyrocketing. 🚀

But guess what? It tanked. And I was left holding the bag, watching my portfolio bleed.

Lesson: Always diversify — no single coin is guaranteed to win.

---

2️⃣ Influencer ≠ Expert

At one point, I followed crypto influencers like they were prophets. They had hundreds of thousands of followers, so I figured they knew it all.

Big mistake. Many of them were just hyping coins for views or gains.

Now I do my own research — I’ve learned to read charts, watch patterns, and trust my own judgment.

---

3️⃣ Use Stop-Losses. Always.

One of my worst trades dropped 40%, and I just watched… hoping it would recover. 😬

Spoiler: it didn’t.

Since then, I never trade without a stop-loss. Protect your capital like it’s your life savings — because sometimes, it is. 🛡️

4️⃣ Start Small. Learn First.

Crypto isn’t some magic money machine. I started throwing in big amounts too fast, without even understanding the basics.

Now I always start small, learn first, and scale up only when I feel confident.

Education beats ego. Every single time.

5️⃣ Emotions Will Wreck You

FOMO, greed, panic — I’ve felt it all. And every time I traded emotionally, it ended badly.

These days, I go in with a plan, stay calm, and stick to it. The market plays on emotions — don’t let it play you.

---

I’m still learning every single day. But if this post helps even one beginner avoid the same painful mistakes I made, it’s 100% worth sharing. 🙏
