If you are still losing now, ask yourself one question:
Does this trade really fit your system?
Or are you just itching to trade, wanting to take a gamble?
To put it bluntly, 90% of people in contracts lose money not because they lack skills, but because they have no system at all, relying completely on feelings to trade—chasing red candles, cutting losses when they see a drop, not knowing where to set stop losses, opening positions based solely on emotions, and blowing up accounts without looking back.
I'll directly share my own approach, no boasting or hiding; with this system, I survived.
I only trade two currencies: BTC and ETH.
Why? They have the strongest liquidity, making them less susceptible to manipulation, and technical analysis is more effective.
How to determine the direction? Very simple:
If the 4-hour MA60 is being pressed down, then it's a short.
No matter how the news blows up, as long as the 4H three candles do not break the MA60, it's a dead short.
If you need to act, then act; don’t hesitate, or you’ll lose profits just by being slow.
Entry method: enter in three batches.
Stop loss? Below the spike.
Take profit? At least a 4:1 risk-reward ratio.
(If you lose $100, you must aim to gain at least $400, otherwise, what’s the point?)
Is the market terrible? Holding cash is a way to profit.
Is the market crashing? There’s a script; if the ETHBTC rate breaks 0.05, I’ll go all in on ETH.
The most important thing is not being able to read charts, but having the courage to hold cash.
I can go a whole day without placing a trade, but I can't trade recklessly.
The maximum stop loss is 15%; if it hits, I close the computer.
Never hold positions overnight, never trade on weekends; I’d rather wait a week than become a victim of a market maker’s knife.
Before I make a trade, I always ask myself:
Does this trade fit my system?
If it doesn’t fit, then I hold cash and do nothing.
Because I know that most of the time, the profits come from 'waiting,' while the losses come from 'not being able to resist.'
While you're still randomly placing trades, I’ve gone a whole week without a single mistake. It’s not that I’m exceptionally good; it’s just that I only do things that I’m 'confident' about.
