Trump officially signs the Stablecoin "#GENIUS Act," the first federal legislation on cryptocurrency in history officially taking effect.

The bill requires stablecoin issuers to maintain a 1:1 reserve backed by liquid assets such as US dollars and short-term government bonds, and to publicly disclose reserve composition monthly, making stablecoins an officially endorsed currency tool by the government.
