#AltcoinBreakout 🔹 What is a Breakout?

A Breakout means breaking through an important price level — such as a Resistance or Support line — on the cryptocurrency chart.

For example: If the price of Bitcoin is stuck for a period between $28,000 and $30,000, and suddenly breaks above the $30,000 level with high trading volume, this is called a bullish Breakout.

🔹 How does it happen?

A Breakout usually results from a long consolidation period, when there is a balance between buyers and sellers, then one side comes in and breaks the balance (due to news, liquidity injection, rumors, or economic events).

🔹 How does it affect other cryptocurrencies?

If a strong Breakout occurs in a major coin like Bitcoin or Ethereum, the whole market often moves with it. Why? Because Bitcoin leads market sentiment — if it rises strongly, optimism increases, and money begins to flow into other coins (Altcoins).

Some Breakouts are local — meaning a breakout occurs in a specific coin only due to news related to the project itself (like a new partnership or a technical update).

Sometimes if Bitcoin breaks a significant level downward, the opposite happens: the whole market collapses in fear of further declines.

🔹 Important point:

A Breakout needs confirmation — sometimes it can be a fakeout if it's not supported by high trading volume or if there is a quick reversal.
