The owner of a wallet holding more than 80,000 BTC since 2011 has just transferred the remaining 40,000 coins, worth $4.8 billion.
These bitcoins were originally purchased at $0.78 each, meaning their value has increased by 150,000 times.
Some speculate that Adam Back, a well-known figure in the crypto industry, could be the owner of these BTC. He is also often linked to the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto โ the mysterious creator of Bitcoin.
