@Caldera Official #Caldera $ERA Heat is transferred to the water not only by the direct contact between the flame and the body of the boiler that contains the water, that is, by conduction, but also through radiation from the flame to the walls of the combustion chamber and another by convection, since the gases produced in combustion, which have high temperatures, heat the metal parts bathed by the water.
The fundamental parts of a boiler are:
Burner.
Combustion chamber.
Smoke circuit.
Smoke box.
Water return.
Water outlet.
Water circuit.
Classification of boilers:
By the material they are made of: cast iron boilers and steel plate boilers.
By the service they provide: heat generators can be manufactured to heat only heating water or also supply ACS (mixed boilers). In turn, the heating of ACS can be done instantaneously or by accumulation.
By the fuel used: solid fuel boilers, liquid fuel boilers, and gas fuel boilers.
By the heated fluid: these are the most commonly used, operating with water at temperatures between 60 and 90°C.
According to the type of combustion chamber and the way they expel gases: open chamber and natural draft boilers, open chamber and forced draft boilers, and sealed chamber and forced draft boilers.
