Assistant Prosecutor Thane Rehn stated that the prosecution expects to finish its statement of charges against Storm by next weekend, after which Tornado Cash co-founder's lawyers will begin calling their own witnesses. Storm indicated that he anticipates the trial will last '3-4 weeks' due to complex legal debates and unforeseen witnesses and evidence.

Given that the prosecution is expected to conclude its statements by July 25, Storm's lawyers have revealed their defense strategy that they will present in court. Before the trial begins, Storm stated that he is unsure if his legal team will allow him to testify in person to defend himself.
