Recently, this coin Pengu has risen too rapidly, directly increasing by 8 times in just a few months, causing various project teams to change their avatars to little penguins, as if the entire internet is giving it free advertising. At such times, the most common question arises: Can we still get in? My personal opinion is to not take the plunge.

Why has it risen so fiercely?

There are actually many reasons behind it. Firstly, Pengu is an old project in the Ethereum ecosystem, with deep roots and considerable resources. Many people who participated in the airdrop last year picked up a few thousand dollars for free; the project team is genuinely generous and not one of those teams that treats the community perfunctorily. Secondly, in the past six months, they have been promoting some ETF-related initiatives. Although nothing has materialized yet, it’s clear they have big ambitions and know how to generate momentum for themselves. Additionally, it’s not entirely a vaporware coin; it has some Web2-related IP licensing revenue, which provides it with a good narrative space through multi-line operations.

But why do I not recommend getting in now? It's simple: Pengu’s current contract OI is already at a high level, and generally, this indicates that a lot of funds are speculating on the short term, making the possibility of a peak higher. Moreover, if you look at Upbit's data, the trading volume of Pengu has surged to the top ranks in the past few days. This situation has happened too many times historically; whenever a small coin suddenly spikes in volume on Upbit, it usually has to pull back afterward. The higher the hype, the greater the risk.

Of course, I'm not saying it's about to drop immediately, but entering at this moment doesn’t offer good value for money. You need to understand one thing: you are not buying a cheap coin; you are buying hype, and it’s the kind of hype that others have already had their fill of.
