Binance has launched the Caldera ERA token today, with active trading starting at 15:30 UTC. The exchange has distributed 20 million ERA tokens through the 27th HODLer Airdrop to BNB holders, representing 2% of the total supply.
Caldera is a RaaS (Rollups-as-a-Service) platform designed to launch customized Layer 2 blockchains in just a few minutes. The project aims to create a "modular internet of rollups" to scale Web3 with customizable blockchain infrastructures.
The platform allows projects to create Layer 2 rollups without having to build everything from scratch, reducing the time and costs traditionally required for months of engineering work.
