Foresight News reports that former National Crime Agency official Paul Chowles was sentenced to over 5 years in prison on Wednesday at Liverpool Crown Court for stealing Bitcoin. The 50 Bitcoins were worth only £60,000 ($77,400) at the time of the theft, and are now worth approximately £4.4 million ($5.9 million).
