Two well-known figures in the cryptocurrency world have unexpectedly died in quick succession, raising concerns:

• On November 25, 2022, Russian cryptocurrency mogul Vyacheslav Taran (53 years old) died when the helicopter he was on crashed at the Italy-France border, along with the pilot. Another passenger was spared due to a last-minute commitment. He was the founder of the Foris Financial Group, highly regarded in the industry, and had long resided in Switzerland and Morocco.

• On October 28 of the same year, 29-year-old American cryptocurrency billionaire Nikolai Mushegian (co-founder of MakerDAO) drowned while surfing on a beach in Puerto Rico; his body was found the next day. Before his death, he tweeted that he was being targeted by personnel related to the Israeli intelligence agency, while his parents believed it was an accident, possibly related to his "mental instability."

The two death incidents may seem coincidental when viewed separately, but their occurrence in such a short time within the cryptocurrency field has led to numerous speculations.
