According to Foresight News and reports from Jinshi, the European Commission has suspended its investigation into Elon Musk's X platform for violating the EU (Digital Services Act). Currently, the EU is focused on completing trade negotiations with the United States. Three officials revealed that the EU originally planned to complete the investigation before the summer recess, but it will now be unable to meet that deadline. It was pointed out that once the results of the EU-US trade negotiations are clarified, relevant decisions may follow. The EU has launched multiple investigations into X based on the (Digital Services Act), which has become a focal point of contention between the EU and large U.S. tech companies supported by the Trump administration, which claims that the EU is unfairly targeting American businesses. EU officials stated that trade negotiations have made all decisions related to the U.S. particularly sensitive, as no one wants to offend Trump and escalate transatlantic trade conflicts.
