#BreakoutTradingStrategy – how to effectively tackle it?

Breakout is not just breaking a level – it's a test of your patience and discipline.

🔍 What do I observe before entering?

Clear consolidation or formation (e.g., triangle, sideways channel)

Increasing volume on the breakout

Confirmation with a candle closing outside the zone

Additionally: Bollinger Bands squeezed + RSI shows momentum

✅ I only enter after:

Closing of a candle outside the zone

Retest of the level as support/resistance

Clear SL below the breakout (or above – for shorts)

🎯 I set TP according to previous swings or the range of the formation.

📉 Not every breakout is a breakout – sometimes it's just a trap. Without patience and the conditions from the checklist – I do not enter. Because overtrading = capital will diminish faster than resistance on a false breakout.
