In July, the Altcoin Season Index rose to about 32%, boosted by 32 altcoins outperforming Bitcoin over 90 days compared to only 12 in June. Although BTC remains dominant at around 63%, the DeFi, AI, and Layer-1 sectors, particularly ETH, SOL, and ADA, are showing strong gains.

The market capitalization excluding Bitcoin reached a high not seen since April (around $1.34T), supporting expectations of an imminent shift towards an altseason. Technical signals confirm breakouts of resistances on TOTAL3, highlighting an increasing momentum in the altcoin market.
