#MyStrategyEvolution Keep a cool head when the market heats up
In the past, when the market surged, I often got swept away by emotions. Seeing prices rise, I would... "fomo" into adding to my Long position, thinking that "this train will go very far." As a result, I have often bought at the peak and paid the price for my lack of discipline.
But after many experiences, my strategy has changed.
When the market heats up, I no longer increase my Long positions. Instead, I start to reduce my positions and take profits gradually.
I understand that when money flows in massively, the market can easily create a peak in excitement. Therefore, managing positions, maintaining discipline, and protecting gains is more important than trying to earn a few extra percent of profit.
The new strategy helps me:
• Preserve profits when the market suddenly reverses
• Have a steadier mindset, not getting caught up in the "greed" vortex
• Optimize long-term efficiency, rather than trying to capture the entire wave
