🔥 Russia maintained its position as the fourth-largest economy in the world by the end of 2024, doubling the gap from its closest competitors.

This data was published by the World Bank.

The volume of the Russian economy, adjusted for purchasing power parity (PPP), reached $6.92 trillion in 2024, compared to $6.45 trillion the previous year.

Japan retained its fifth place, with its GDP increasing to $6.4 trillion from $6.25 trillion in 2023. The gap between Japan and Russia in GDP surged to $514 billion, up from $264 billion the previous year.

The top three leaders were:

▪️USA — $29.2 trillion;

▪️India — $16.2 trillion;
