After three liquidations and losing over 200,000, I later turned 300 into 16,000. Even an old trader can make a comeback.
He is an experienced trader, having traded for 4 years, switched platforms 7 times, experienced bull markets, and endured waterfalls.
But recently, he completely collapsed.
That day he came to me and said:
"Brother, I'm really going crazy."
He sent me a screenshot of his account,
In 4 days, there were 3 liquidations, losing the last 10,000 dollars,
After losing, he would recharge, and after recharging, he would lose again.
It wasn't that his skills were lacking, but his mindset had completely broken down.
I understand the pain of an experienced trader.
Principal shrinking, shaking while watching the market
Cursing himself while holding positions, the more he cursed, the more he increased his positions
In the end, he ended up with a mess, and his account only had a few dollars left.
In this state, no matter how much money you give him, he will lose it all.
The real bottom is not when the account reaches zero, but when the mindset collapses.
Later, I only let him do three things:
Step 1: Only withdraw 500 dollars of the principal
Not because money isn’t important, but to save the mindset first.
I told him: It’s not that you can’t do it, but you’ve been gambling all along.
From now on, we will only do low leverage small positions + fixed stop losses + high win rate rhythm trades.
Step 2: Follow the rules of my "Loss Reduction Training Camp"
What we do is:
Follow the trend trades during the day, never bet against the flow for a rebound
Each trade has a maximum stop loss of 3%, take profit at 1:2
Losing one trade doesn’t matter, win two trades to recover directly
Not many trades, but each one has a plan, steady and precise!
Step 3: Weekly review + emotion control
I let him learn how to calmly assess losing trades,
Learn how to control impulses, reduce the number of trades, and trade slowly.
I told him one thing:
"Don’t rush to recover when losing money; first learn how not to lose."
Record of the recovery process
Week 1: 500 dollars → 630 dollars (won 2 trades, lost 1 trade)
Week 2: 630 dollars → 980 dollars (traded ETH in the main upward phase)
Week 3: 980 dollars → 1280 dollars (controlled drawdown, insisted on taking profits)
Week 4: 1280 dollars → 2140 dollars (light positions during a major interest rate hike)
Week 6: 2140 dollars → 5280 dollars (maintained mindset, steadily rolled in small cycles)
Week 8: 5280 dollars → broke 10,000 dollars (gradually increased position size, kept the rhythm)
Today, his account has reached 16,800 dollars,
Maybe not getting rich quickly, but for an old trader who has experienced three liquidations and a broken mindset, this is already a rebirth.
