According to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), here’s how the Consumer Price Index stands for June 2025 (based on press release and monthly CPI review):
Headline inflation (Year‑on‑Year): 3.2 %, down from May’s 3.5 %
Monthly change: Increased slightly by 0.2 % MoM
Urban CPI YoY: 3.0 %, MoM growth of ~0.1 %
Rural CPI YoY: 3.6 %, MoM growth around **0.5 %**
Core Inflation Measures (June 2025)
Non-Food Non-Energy (NFNE): Urban at 6.9 % YoY, Rural at 8.6 % YoY; moderation from May
Trimmed Mean (20 %): Urban at 4.7 % YoY, Rural at 5.2 % YoY
